A Texas appellate court upheld the dismissal of a worker’s assertion that he was fired in retaliation for defying his medical restrictions. Case: Martin v. Fasken Oil and Ranch Ltd., No. 11-18-00111-CV, 04/02/2020, published. Facts: Garrett Martin's job with Fasken Oil and Ranch Ltd. required him to load pipes onto racks stacked as high as 7 feet or more. The pipes could weigh up to 700 pounds.
