A federal trial judge in the District of Columbia last week tossed a worker’s civil suit against her supervisor for an alleged assault at their place of employment.
Shalaura Ham and Teresa Memine both worked at a TJ Maxx retail store on Brentwood Road in Washington D.C.
Ham claims that Memine began verbally abusing her at work on Oct. 14, 2016, telling her she needed to “fix the shoes because they were a mess like she was a mess.”
