Chiro to Serve One Year in Prison for Double Billing

An Ohio chiropractor on Monday was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for billing private insurance companies, the state Bureau of Workers' Compensation and government health insurance programs for services he never provided. Jeffrey R. Shope, of Blacklick, Ohio, pleaded guilty to one count of insurance fraud on Sept. 29. He was owner of True Health Chiropractic in Westerville, Ohio.
