Hearing Postponed Again Over Contested Proposed Rule on Fee Disputes

An administrative law judge has again postponed a hearing in which providers and their billing companies are opposing a proposed rule that would allow the Division of Workers’ Compensation to step aside from medical fee disputes that involve managed care contracts. A hearing that had been scheduled for Friday was continued until 9 a.m. Oct. 11 at the Division of Administrative Hearings, Hearing Room 2, at the DeSoto Building, 1230 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee.
