OSHA to Discuss Future of Voluntary Protections Program

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will hold its second stakeholder meeting on the future of the agency’s Voluntary Protections Program on Aug. 28 in New Orleans. The meeting will be from 1-5 p.m. in Great Hall B of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, 900 Convention Center Blvd. OSHA adopted the Voluntary Protections Program in 1982 to emphasize cooperation among government, industry and labor to address worker safety and health issues, and to expand worker protection.
