The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation will increase maximum temporary income benefits by 5.1% to $1,058 from $1,007, effective Oct. 1.
The maximum temporary total disability benefit is set at 100% of the state’s average weekly wage. Last year, the average weekly wage increased to $1,058.38 from $1,006.71.
Lifetime income benefits and death benefits are also set at 100% of the state’s average weekly wage and will increase to $1,058.
