The Pennsylvania Senate Labor and Industry Committee has amended a bill that seeks to tighten eligibility standards for benefit payments by the state Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund.
The committee on Monday sent an amended version of Senate Bill 676 to the Senate floor for its first consideration by the full chamber. The bill was introduced by Sen. John Gordner, R-Berwick, on May 4.
