Carolyn Doherty will serve as a commissioner on the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced.
At the same time, the WCC announced new arbitration assignments.
Doherty has served as an arbitrator on the WCC for 10 years, presiding over workers’ compensation claims, issuing written decisions following trials and approving settlement contracts, the governor’s office said in a statement.
