The Montana Workers’ Compensation Court ruled that a uninsured contractor was liable for reimbursing the Uninsured Employers' Fund for the benefits paid to an uninsured subcontractor’s injured employee. Case: Reule v. Brock, No. 2015-3585, 04/11/2017, published. Facts: Tim Reule ran a construction company called Reule Builders. He subcontracted the roofing work for a project to Andrew Brock, the proprietor of AB Roofing and Construction. Brock then hired David Albrecht to do work on the roofing project.
