LA Times Adds to Database of Athlete Comp Claims

The Los Angeles Times has added information about injuries alleged by soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey players to its online database of workers’ compensation claims athletes have filed in California. While the database shows the overwhelming majority of workers’ compensation claims in California are filed by football players – about 5,000 out of 7,100 claims filed since 1990 – a bill sitting on Gov.
