Workers' Comp Board to Discuss Adoption of Formulary on Tuesday

The Maine Workers' Compensation Board of Directors will discuss the adoption of a formulary at a meeting next week. Formularies are lists of which medications can be used to treat certain conditions. The board will hear from the director of the state Department of Health and Human Services, the executive director of the Maine Medical Association and a doctor from the Mercy Hospital Pain Center while discussing the issue.
