Father, Daughter Accused of Swindling Medicare Set-Aside Funds to Open Cigar Lounge

A Southern California insurance agent and his daughter are accused of swindling two injured workers out of $273,954 by promising to invest their settlement funds, but diverting the money for personal use, the state Department of Insurance said Friday. The department said 63-year-old Tom Fallon of Long Beach will be arraigned today on multiple felony charges, including theft by embezzlement and money laundering.
