A Southern California insurance agent and his daughter are accused of swindling two injured workers out of $273,954 by promising to invest their settlement funds, but diverting the money for personal use, the state Department of Insurance said Friday.
The department said 63-year-old Tom Fallon of Long Beach will be arraigned today on multiple felony charges, including theft by embezzlement and money laundering. His daughter, 28-year-old Christina Fallon, is scheduled to surrender herself at the Long Beach Police Department today. She faces the same charges as her father.
