Office Adopts Final COVID Telemedicine Rules and Codes

The Louisiana Office of Workers' Compensation Administration has adopted new reimbursement rules and billing codes for telemedicine services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The rules, published in the Louisiana Register, replace emergency rules that are due to expire at the end of October. They include recently added Current Procedural Terminology, or CPT codes, as well as COVID antibody testing, with a maximum allowance of $90 and a COVID lab test at $103.
