Kids' Chance of California, a nonprofit offering scholarships to the children of workers who have been killed or seriously injured at work, is seeking applicants for the 2015-16 school year.
The charity makes available annual scholarships, ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25, have a high school diploma and demonstrate financial need. They must also be enrolled, accepted in or applying as a full- or part-time student at a university, college or technical school.
