The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California on Friday submitted a proposed Sept. 1 regulatory filing that would, among other things, lower the experience rating threshold.
The WCIRB is proposing that the insurance commissioner reduce the experience rating eligibility threshold to $9,500 from $9,900 to reflect wage inflation and proposed expected loss rates.
