Public Hearing Set for New Medical Treatment Guidelines

The Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims will hold a public hearing next week to get feedback on proposed medical treatment guidelines. In keeping with a state law passed in 2018, advisory councils have been meeting for almost 18 months to devise a workers' compensation drug formulary and treatment guidelines. The formulary was finalized earlier this year, and now the treatment guidelines are ready for public comment, the department said in a bulletin.
