WCAB Commissioners Say Final Version of Rules Out 'Soon'

SAN DIEGO – Workers' Compensation Appeals Board Commissioner Marguerite Sweeney on Friday reported that the agency is "real, real close" to putting out a final version of its proposed revisions to its Rules of Practice and Procedure to reflect the changes prompted by Senate Bill 863. Commission Chairwoman Ronnie Caplane said she anticipates having the formal public hearing on the proposed changes by mid-March. Caplane joined Sweeney and Commissioner Alfonso Moresi, at the California Applicants' Attorneys Association biannual conference last week to provide an ...
