California’s medical payments for 2016 claims with experience through 2019 were typical of other states as a result of a series of legislative reforms, the Workers Compensation Research Institute reported.
Medical payments per claim in California were higher than typical in previous years, according to WCRI’s “CompScope Medical Benchmarks for California, 21st Edition.”
