AWCC Posts Proposed Rule Adopting ODG, Formulary

The Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission has posted a proposed amended rule adopting the Official Disability Guidelines as the AWCC’s medical treatment guidelines, effective Jan. 1, 2015. “Medical treatment provided by or at the direction of the treating physician in accordance with ODG is presumed to be reasonable and necessary and not subject to utilization review,” the rule states.
