Forty-five percent of respondents in a recent survey said telemedicine is the technology that will have the biggest impact on the workers’ comp industry in the future.
The survey by Mitchell found that 19% of respondents believe artificial intelligence is the technology that will have the biggest workers’ comp impact, followed by mobile technologies, at 14%; wearable devices, at 10%; and chatbots, at 1%.
About 10% of respondents said none of those technologies will significantly impact workers’ compensation.
