Soft-Tissue Claims to Triple and Comp Will Face Major Revamp by 2030, Economist Says

In the next decade or so, the number of soft-tissue claims will triple as workers and health care providers classify more injuries as work-related. At the same time, workers' compensation systems will begin to face existential pressure as a new generation of Americans grapples with government debt, demands new efficiencies and pushes for universal health care and guaranteed income.
