House Passes Bill Clarifying Exclusive Remedy After High Court Rules in Death Suit

Lawmakers in Idaho this week passed a law intended to clear up confusion over whether an injured employee can bypass workers’ compensation as an exclusive remedy and sue the employer for “an unprovoked act of physical aggression.” Senate Bill 1321, crafted by the Legislature’s Judiciary and Rules Committee, heads to Idaho Gov.
