Hedrick Gardner Promotes 2 Comp Attorneys in Charlotte

The Hedrick Gardner Kincheloe & Garofalo law firm announced the promotion of three attorneys, two of whom focus on workers’ compensation law.

Brooke Mulenex

Brooke Mulenex was promoted to partner in the firm’s Charlotte office. Mulenex was first employed by the firm as a summer clerk while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill law school. She was offered a permanent position and started after receiving her Juris Doctorate in 2011, and now leads the Hedrick Gardner softball team, according to the firm’s website.

Mulenex received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. 

Michael Hedgepeth was promoted to special counsel in Hedrick Gardner’s Charlotte office. Hedgepeth received his Juris Doctor from the Campbell University School of Law in 2013 after receiving a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University.

While in law school, he interned for North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Paul Newby and for Rep. David Lewis in the state General Assembly.

Hedrick Gardner also announced the promotion of attorney Austin R. Walsh to partner. He focuses on civil litigation at the Charlotte office.
