Michigan state regulators have proposed an update to health care services rules that will modestly increase costs, but maintain maximum reimbursement rates at approximately 130% of Medicare rates.
The state Workers’ Compensation Agency said in an analysis of the proposed changes that fees for the 50 most frequently used Current Procedure Terminology Codes will increase by 1.2%. Fees for the 10 most frequently used CPTs, however, will increase by less than 1%, the agency said.
