DWC Postpones Physician Dispensing Workshops Due to Hurricane

The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation is postponing workshops on physician dispensing rules scheduled for Thursday, the same day Hurricane Ian is forecast to make landfall. The division is proposing changes to rules addressing health care provider billing responsibilities and insurer authorization and billing obligations.
