The Nevada Division of Industrial Relations announced that mandatory training for workers in the entertainment industry will begin in January.
In the fall edition of the Nevada Workers’ Compensation Chronicle, the division said supervisory employees will have to complete a 30-hour safety and health course, and non-supervisory workers will be required to complete a 10-hour training program. Employees will be required to complete the safety training programs within 15 days of hire.
