AG Urged CMS to Pay for Toxicology Services Her Office Was Investigating

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi in 2014 sent a letter to the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services seeking to halt the federal agency's crackdown on payments for toxicology services her office had been investigating for at least two years, according to the Palm Beach Post. And Bondi last year took credit for helping negotiate a quarter-billion dollar settlement with Millennium Health LLC, formerly known as Millennium Laboratories, for defrauding Medicare and state Medicaid programs with the very same services she defended the previous year.
