The Assembly Insurance Committee will hear testimony shortly after lawmakers return to the Capitol in January on a bill that would remove from mandatory coverage requirements an exemption for day laborers.
The committee is hearing Assembly Bill 206, by Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, D-San Diego, Jan. 10.
