San Bernardino DA Has Conducted 50 Comp Fraud Investigations so Far in FY17

The San Bernardino District Attorney's Office has conducted 50 investigations into workers' compensation fraud since last July, the agency announced in a statement published this week.  Seventeen cases have resulted in criminal charges, and four are still open. In a recent case, Joseph Blanco, 37, of Corona, pleaded guilty to failing to secure workers' compensation coverage for the employees of his sustainable building design company, Rescue Green.
