U.S. District Judge Christina A. Snyder continued the bribery trial of California state Sen. Ron Calderon and his brother until Sept. 16 and also pushed back the date of a status conference and motion hearing to Aug. 11.The U.S. Attorney's Office last month filed a grand jury indictment with the federal court in Los Angeles alleging Calderon, D-Montebello, solicited $100,000 in bribes to influence legislation, including $30,000 from former Pacific Hospital of Long Beach owner Michael D.
