Court Rebukes Doctor for Unprofessional Conduct

The Court of Special Appeals on Wednesday rebuked a doctor who treated injured workers, for his practice of writing prescriptions for oxycodone for patients in bars, restaurants and parking lots in exchange for payment. The court found Dr. Walter Kozachuk guilty of unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine and ordered that he be placed on probation for a minimum of two years.
