A motion picture company is facing $12,675 in proposed federal penalties after a stuntman died during the filming of television show “The Walking Dead” in Senoia, Georgia.
Stalwart Films LLC was issued a citation for one serious violation on Wednesday by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The company has 15 days to contest the citation.
The stuntman, 33-year-old John Bernecker, died in July from injuries suffered in a fall, which OSHA described as more than 20 feet. The $12,675 is the maximum allowable fine, OSHA said.
