Injured Roofer Admits to Returning to Work While Collecting Benefits

A 55-year-old Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to taking nearly $10,000 in workers’ compensation benefits after returning to work, the state Workers’ Compensation Fraud Inspector General’s Office said. Arnold Fassbinder pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott said in a press release.
