A former U.S. State Department employee who sued for lack of due process after years of wrangling with federal workers’ compensation would have been better off staying within the system, because the federal courts don't have jurisdiction over issues that arise during the claims adjudication process, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals wrote last week in a decision upholding the dismissal of a lawsuit.
