Hearing Scheduled on Affidavit of Exemption Regulation

The Kansas Insurance Department has scheduled a public hearing Dec. 19 to consider the adoption of a proposed regulation regarding affidavits of exemption from the state workers’ compensation act. The hearing will begin at 2 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the Kansas Insurance Department, 420 SW 9th St. in Topeka. Written comments may also be submitted before the hearing, according to a notice published in the Oct. 19 edition of the Kansas Register, page 1181.
