A New York City subway conductor was arraigned Wednesday on an indictment accusing him of stealing about $114,000 in workers’ compensation benefits by holding law enforcement jobs while claiming he was unable to work, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez’s office announced.
Giovanni Seminerio, 48, faces 22 counts that include grand larceny, offering of a false instrument for filing, and falsifying business records. He was released following Wednesday’s arraignment with instructions to return to court Nov. 17.
