Poultry Processor Held in Contempt for Ignoring OSHA Citation

A federal appellate court held a Pennsylvania poultry processor in contempt for failing to pay $162,359 in penalties for workplace safety violations following an Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspection. OSHA cited Birdsboro Kosher Farms Corp. for violations related to lockout/tagout requirements and failure to provide personal protective equipment, including hearing protection.
