Washington state’s Department of Labor & Industries is seeking applications for an advisory group tasked with addressing workers’ comp access issues for day laborers and domestic workers, the department said in a news release.
L&I said the Domestic Workers Work Group is expected to include workers, employers, union reps, nonprofit affiliates and companies that hire day laborers and domestic workers.
Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to appoint members to the board.
