Bill Zachry, the top risk manager for Albertson's Cos. and a major player in California workers' compensation politics, is retiring from his corporate job next month, according to an announcement from the company.
Albertson's Chief Financial Officer Bob Dimond said Zachry is stepping down from his position as group vice president of risk management in mid-August. He will be replaced by Bill Richardson, currently vice president of claims for the grocery store chain.
