An occupational therapist in northeast Ohio has been barred from treating injured workers and was sentenced to five years' probation and a $2,500 fine after she pleaded guilty to billing for services she never provided.
Susanna Freedman, of Euclid, pleaded guilty in Cuyahoga County last month, the result of a probe by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation's Special Investigations Department, the BWC said in a news release.
