A Louisiana appellate court upheld the denial of benefits to worker for his alleged injuries from a fall through an apartment roof. GDE Renovations Inc. was hired as a contractor to repair a roof at the Steeplechase Apartment complex. GDE then hired K&C Sheet Metal and Roofing Inc. as a subcontractor. Silton Ardoin allegedly suffered injuries when he fell through the roof while working on this project.
