Lawmakers Moving Quickly on Compromise PTSD Bill

A year after lawmakers failed to agree on a post-traumatic stress bill, the Wisconsin Legislature is now considering a bipartisan compromise that would make it easier for some — but not all — public safety officers to qualify for mental-only benefits. Two very similar bills before the Legislature address the issue, and supporters agree that neither is perfect.
