XL Group Hires 2 as it Sets up Shop in Denver

The insurance segment of XL Group announced on Friday the expansion of its North America property and casualty team in the Rocky Mountain region with the appointments of Gregory Melton as senior property underwriter and Stephen Sanford as vice president and business development manager, both based in Denver.Reporting to Western Regional Executive Wade Pitman in Los Angeles, Melton will be responsible for underwriting large property risks throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
