Hiking E&M Reimbursements Would Have Raised System Costs by $11 Million

A recently rejected proposal to increase by 30% the reimbursement rates for evaluation and management services would have raised system costs by nearly double the estimates provided by health care providers, according to the National Council on Compensation Insurance.
