WCB Offers Remote Participation in Mediations

The Maine Workers’ Compensation Board is now offering a way for parties and their representatives to make routine workers’ compensation appearances by video from their offices, homes or other locations. WCB is coordinating with a company called CourtCall to provide the service. CourtCall is available at all WCB regional offices for mediation. Parties need to request approval from the mediator seven days before the scheduled mediation.
