Florida's COVID-19-related workers' compensation claims continue to rise in number, but the vast majority have resulted in relatively small indemnity payments, according to the Florida Division of Workers' Compensation.
The latest monthly report, posted Monday, shows that from January through August, 17,653 COVID claims have been filed by Florida workers, although the August numbers will increase as claims are processed.
