Standard Meal Rate Increasing Oct. 1

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that the standard daily meal rate will increase to $59 from $55 on Oct. 1. Insurers must reimburse lodging, meals and mileage when injured workers are required to travel for medical appointments. The new standard rate for meals is $14.75 for breakfast and lunch and $29.50 for dinner. Both the standard lodging rate of $96 and reimbursement of 56 cents per mile for the use of private vehicles are unchanged. Revised Bulletin No. 112, issued Sept. 24, is here. ...
