CWCI Offers On-Demand Webinar on Impact of MLFS Changes

The California Workers’ Compensation Institute is offering an on-demand webinar reviewing findings from a study on the impact of changes to the Medical-Legal Fee Schedule. CWCI in July reported that payments for med-legal services increased sharply under the new fee schedule that took effect in April 2021. The first update to the fee schedule since 2006 changed payment formulas for evaluations and reports and included multipliers to increase payments to certain medical specialists.
