A Louisiana appellate court last week ruled that a group of health care providers who allegedly had their workers' compensation medical bills discounted through a "silent PPO" arrangement could retroactively amend the terms of their settlement agreement to change the claims they were willing to release.
The settlement resolved the doctors' claims against several entities that had been associated with the Bestcomp preferred provider network, including a company called Rehab Review.
