A construction framing company based in Naples, Florida is facing proposed federal fines of $53,900 following the death of an employee who fell 19 feet while working on a new home.
SB Framing Services Inc. was issued citations for one willful and one serious violation on Jan. 4 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The 32-year-old framer was working without fall protection at the time of the incident, OSHA said in a news release. He was taken to the hospital after the fall, where he died.
